• 2 cup white sugar
• 5 large eggs beaten
• 2 cup milk
• 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
• ½ cup light brown sugar packed
• 3 cup Italian bread cubed, allow this to stale overnight in a bowl
• ¼ cup butter, melted
• 1 cup pecans chopped
• 1 cup white sugar
• ½ cup butter melted
• 1 egg beaten
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• ¼ cup brandy

Prep time:20 minutes
Cook time:50 minutes
Ready:70 minutes
1.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
2.Grease a baking 13 x 9 baking dish
3.To make bread pudding:
4.Mix together 2 cups of white sugar, 5 eggs, milk and 2 tsp of vanilla extract in a bowl. Pour this over the bread and allow it to set for 10 minutes. Take a separate bowl and mix in brown sugar, ¼ cup butter and pecans. Pour the bread mix to the prepared pan and spread some brown sugar mix
5.Bake for 35-40 minutes or until it is set

7.Mix in 1 cup of white sugar, 1 egg, ½ cup butter and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir frequently, until the sugar is melted. Mix in brandy and then pour sauce over the bread pudding
