Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French or Italian bread cut into cubes
  • 3 cup milk
  • ¼ cup cream
  • ¼ cup coffee flavored liqueur
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp almond extract
  • 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 6 large eggs lightly beaten
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degree F
  • Lightly grease a 13 x 9 inch baking dish and place bread in the dish
  • Take a bowl and mix in cream, liqueur and milk. In a bowl mix granulated and brown sugars and mix well. Add the sugars to the milk mix and whisk to combine. Add the vanilla extract, almond extract and cinnamon to the beaten eggs.
  • Add this mixture to the egg mixture and combine well. Now, stir in the chocolate chips and pour the mixture evenly over the bread cubes. Allow it to stand for 20 minutes, until the bread absorbs all the mixture
  • Bake for an hour
