Peaches and Cream Bread Pudding Recipe

The tender and sweet peaches bring a nice twist to this classic comfort dessert. Preferably use fresh peaches instead of the frozen ones if they are available. Serve this bread pudding with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream if desired. This tasty bread pudding starts with cubes of bread that is topped with chunks of peaches.

• 8 cups white bread cubed
• 1 can of sliced peaches drained and chopped
• 4 eggs
• ¾ cups of granulated sugar
• 2 cups milk
• 1 cup (250 ml) heavy cream
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Cooking Instructions

1.Preheat the oven to 350 degree F
2.Add the bread cubes to a nicely greased 9×9 baking dish. Dot the surface with peaches and place a few of them in-between the bread cubes
3.To make a custard mix, whisk the eggs with sugar in a large mixing bowl until it is lightly frothy. Mix in cream, vanilla, milk and cinnamon. Pour this slowly over the bread cubes and push it down so that it gets completely soaked
4.Bake for 45 to 50 minutes and serve warm, chilled or at room temperature. If desired serve with whipped cream on top
