These buns take very less time to rise. Simply prepare the dough and then bake it in the oven. Even though there is yeast added to the dough, you don’t have to wait for it to rise. It is delicious and yeasty.

This is an Easy Quick Rise Buns Recipe that only takes an hour from start to finish. These buns are light and fluffy and can be used for burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, or as a side. You can make them ahead of time and freeze them, or make them fresh the day of. This recipe makes 8 buns, but can easily be doubled or tripled. You will need:

Ingredients

Serving: 8 buns

• 2 ½ Cups of warm water
• 6 tbsp sugar
• 3 tbsp yeast
• 2 tbsp oil
• 6 Cups of flour (white or whole meal)
• 2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking powder

How To Make Quick Rise Bun

• Mix together water, yeast, sugar and oil
• Allow it to stand for five minutes until the mix turns frothy on top
• Add flour, salt and baking powder
• Knead well
• If making pizza base, you need to roll out or else shape according to bun
• Brush oil or milk
• Bake for 200 degrees Celsius for about 10-15 minutes
