
Naan is a delicious, soft flatbread that is traditionally made in a tandoor, or clay oven. However, it is also possible to make naan at home using a skillet or griddle. This quick and easy recipe yields delicious results with very little effort.
Simply combine the ingredients in a bowl, knead the dough for a few minutes, and then cook the Naan on a hot skillet or griddle until it is golden brown and puffy. Serve the Naan warm with your favorite curry or dal.
The Naan recipe doesn’t have any yeast going in it. This is an Indian bread recipe (Leavened Indian Flatbread) that goes well with most Indian curry, Chicken Tikka , Beef/Lamb Masala , Chole, Papdi Chaat, Palak Paneer or Tandoori Chicken. It is quick recipe to make and since it has no yeast, it doesn’t need to rise.
Note: If you love garlic Naan, You can add garlic to the dough or brush it with butter on top to make it delicious.
INGREDIENT

- 1+3/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1tsp Salt
- 3/4 tsp Baking Powder
- 2tsp Oil
- 1/2 cup of Milk
- Butter (or Glee) and herbs for seasoning
INSTRUCTION
1.Mix all the ingredients and whisk well

2. Add oil and milk in the mix and combine everything together until it forms a ball.
3. Knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. Do this at least for five minutes, add flour as and when required

4.Allow the dough to rest for 10 minutes. Divide into 6-8 pieces

5.Roll a piece of dough until thin.

6. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. If the skillet is non-stick variety you can put the rolled dough over it directly for cooking, but if the skillet is not of a non-stick variety, then it is better to melt some butter before you add each piece of dough. Cook the Naan, one at a time for 90 seconds or until you find the parts blackening on each side.


7.When done, brush some butter and add some cilantro and garlic if you want , ENJOY!

This quick recipe only requires a few ingredients and can be made in under 30 minutes. Naan is the perfect accompaniment to any Indian dish, or can be enjoyed on its own with some butter or ghee.
